What is a Home Inspection?
A home inspection is an examination of the current condition of a home. Inspections include visual observations of the structure, roof, foundation, basement, heating system, water heater, air-conditioning system (temperature permitting), plumbing, electrical, exterior, interior, and many other aspects of the home. A professional home inspection can provide peace of mind about your next real estate purchase and help uncover potential issues.
Our Inspection Services
EXTERIOR
We check for signs of damage, deterioration, and other potential issues of the exterior materials including siding, trim, doors, windows and many other exterior fixtures. We'll also check your structures and the surrounding property for damage caused by wood destroying insects, as well as wear and maintenance needs on patios, decks, and railings.
INTERIOR
We thoroughly check all aspects of a structure's interior. Not just for damage and visible issues, but also looking for signs of water ingress, structural issues, walls, floors, and ceilings. We'll also check locks, doors, and windows for proper functionality and any attic spaces for proper insulation.
ROOFING
Our inspectors will check over the roofing materials, flashing, gutters and downspouts, chimneys, and other roofing fixtures for signs of water ingress, deficiencies, and any other areas of concern.
FOUNDATION
The professional inspectors at Full Armor Home Inspection have the experience to recognize signs of problems beneath the surface. We take the time to evaluate any visible structural components like slabs, foundation walls, columns and piers. We also look for bulging and cracks in floors and foundation walls, around vulnerable fixtures, and other signs of structural issues to help you make an informed decision based upon the information available.
ELECTRICAL
Our team of expert electrical inspectors have the skills and equipment needed to thoroughly check over electrical panels, fixtures, outlets, switches, and other components.
PLUMBING
Our inspectors will check over supply and drain lines for visible issues. We'll look under cabinets, in crawl spaces, and above drop ceilings for visible problems and we'll check in places we can't see plumbing for signs of issues below the surface.
MOISTURE
We can help find the cause of water intrusion and damp basements and other sources of mold and mildew.
